Acceptance and Scope

These terms govern your use of the Alsun app and website (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the App you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. They are complemented by our Privacy Policy.

Installing the App from the App Store is also subject to Apple's standard end-user license agreement.

Eligibility and Account

• You must be at least 16 years old.
• You give accurate information when registering, keep your sign-in details confidential and are responsible for activity under your account.
• Your account is personal and may not be shared or transferred.

Acceptable Use

You may not:

• Copy, scrape, republish or sell Service content, decompile the App or circumvent its restrictions.
• Share your account with anyone else, or try to access other people's accounts or data.
• Overload the servers, try to disrupt the Service or use it for unlawful purposes.
• Submit abusive or unlawful content in writing exercises or feedback.

Intellectual Property

Lessons, exercises, conversations, explanations, design and branding belong to the Alsun team or are licensed to us and are protected by copyright. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for your own learning only.

What you write remains yours; you give us a limited right to process it to run the Service (for example, to assess your answer), as described in the Privacy Policy.

Nature of the Content

• The Service is for language learning. Situations such as the immigration office, housing, work and health are language practice, not legal, medical or administrative advice. For official procedures, consult the competent authority or a qualified adviser.
• We do our best to be accurate, but errors may exist and rules and procedures change over time.
• Some examples and assessments are generated by AI and may be wrong. Verify anything important.

Availability and Changes

We aim to keep the Service running but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may change, add or withdraw features. The core Service is currently free; if we add paid features we will show their price and terms in the App before any payment.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time in Settings. We may suspend or end your account if you breach these terms, and will tell you where possible. Provisions that by their nature continue after termination, such as intellectual property and limits of liability, survive.

Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages or for decisions you make relying on learning content. This does not limit our liability where it cannot lawfully be limited, such as for intent or gross negligence or injury to life, body or health, nor your statutory rights as a consumer.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the law of the country where the provider of the Service is established, without affecting your mandatory consumer rights under the law of your country of residence.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms. We will announce material changes in the App before they take effect; continuing to use the Service afterwards means you accept them.
